With a growing number of users accessing on mobile devices and global visitors, the Norton Simon Museum’s website was in need of a user-focused website redesign and fresh digital assets.
Thinking mobile-first, the website redesign included getting rid of the 3-column layout on the home page.
Extra copy was stripped away to focus on the real star– the works of art. Users can see extra information when hovering over images on desktop and on mobile the default is list view.
The redesign embraces bright colors, big images and negative space to deliver a website that is aesthetically contemporary and delivers to the user.
